dear musician friend of mine; i am currently trying to perpetrate like i am a musical visionary by putting forth a musical challenge to you: should you choose to accept this your finished product will be as such: a song that only utilizes the chord progression G C D. it can be major minor pentatonic mixylidian whatever, but you must follow the G C D only!...no other progressions allowed and any redition will be accepted on the basis that the title and the lyrics of the song (clean please) utilize the letters G C D as well...also if you are recording this then there should be an available track for me to perform on with any of the instruments i have to offer (bass, acoustic guitar, voice, piano/keyboard/acordion, slide whistle, etc.) this is to make a statement about the music industry as everything out there all sounds the same and to put together a collaboratory compilation of the music peeps i know. i do think that i will release this under the "uncle phil" moniker so i dont want that to influence your creativity, but i think that it might need to be a bit kid frendly... looking forward to your reactions and songs, and by all means please forward this to any people i have forgotten much musical love to you ttfn. p. |
